TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TRADING
GENERAL
- Prices
quoted are nett, exclusive of VAT
- Our
terms of payment are 28 days from the date of invoice with payment in Sterling unless
otherwise specified. Invoices in Euros must be paid in Euros.
- Prices,
sizes and capacities quoted in our Trade Price List are for guidance only
and we reserve the right to vary prices and specifications as
circumstances change without prior notice.
- To
speed up despatch and reduce breakages, we have included in our Catalogue
the packing quantities and request that where possible items are ordered
in pack quantities. When this is not possible and breakages occur, we
reserve the right not to credit or replace broken items.
- The
title of the goods supplied shall remain with the seller until all
outstanding payments have been made by the customer.
ORDER AND DELIVERY
- Central
London-Free for all orders in excess of £100. Central
London is defined by the following postcodes. W1, SW1, SW3,
WC1, WC2, EC1, EC3, EC4, NW1, W2, N1, SE1 and E1. All orders under £100
will be subject to a carriage charge of £8.00
- UK
Mainland-Free for all orders in excess of £250. All orders under £250 will
be subject to a carriage charge of £10.
- Scottish Highlands and Islands,
Eire and Northern Ireland-Carriage charge
of 10% with orders under £250 subject to full carriage costs.
- Samples
of standard items are available upon request and will be invoiced at list
price and fully credited if returned to Chomette within 30 days on
invoice. Return carriage is the responsibility of the customer.
- Orders
for personalised badging and special decorations are subject to a 10%
variance under or over the quantity ordered.
- Internet
customers requiring goods to be delivered directly by their own couriers
to their own customers for any order less than £100 will incur a £6
preparation cost.
RETURNED GOODS AND CREDIT NOTES
- All
breakages and discrepancies to be notified in writing or by email within
three days of receipt of goods with full details of defective items,
otherwise no claims will be entertained. Regrettably we are unable to
exchange goods unless they are returned in perfect condition and in their
original packaging which must also be in perfect condition. Goods ordered
in error will be subject to a 10% handling charge if returned within 30
days of the invoice date. Thereafter a handling charge of 30% will apply.
We are unable to accept the return of discontinued items.
- A
Returns Number must be obtained from the customer services team before
attempting to return goods to either of our warehouses. Please also
include your contact details and account number with all returns otherwise
credit notes will not be issued.
